Freight & Tax Information
Shipping Services:
All packages are shipped from San Francisco, CA. During the busy winter holiday season, order processing can take up to 48 hours.
We currently offer Ground, 2 Day and Overnight Shipping.
Ground transit time is from 1 to 5 business days from the date the order is processed and shipped depending on the location of the recipient.
2 Day transit time is 2 business days from the date the order is processed and shipped. Please note that 2 Day shipments to Alaska and Hawaii take an additional day of transit time.
Overnight transit time is from 1 business days from the date the order is processed and shipped. Please note that overnight shipments to Alaska and Hawaii take an additional day of transit time.
Shipping Costs:
We can ship any of our gift items anywhere in the United States using UPS. Freight is calculated based on the dollar value of the product (s) per recipient using the following rates:

Please note that we cannot ship to a P.O. Box.
Tax Rates:
We must collect taxes on items shipped to New York State. The current applicable tax rate is 7.25%. It applies to both the cost of the product and the shipping charges.
Non chocolate items (e.g. books, tee shirts, etc) shipped to California will also be charged sales tax at the current rate of 8.75%
Order Volume Discounts
We offer corporate volume discounts based on total order size as follows:
| $500 - $1,500: | 5% |
| $1,501- $3,000: | 10% |
| $3,001 - $5,000: | 15% |
| $5,000 - up: | 20% |
Discounts are calculated on a per-order basis, not including shipping charges or sales tax. Discounts only apply to product cost. Shipments to multiple recipients placed together are counted as a single order. Please call us for information on placing large multiple recipient orders. We can take the information in a spreadsheet to facilitate order entry and processing time.
